Opening Times

We are open all year round, though May to October are the best months for visiting.
We are open any time.
This garden is also our home, so we are here almost all of the time. We cannot guarantee to hear the phone in the daytime if we are out working in the garden, so it is better to phone the evening before to confirm we will be in. We rarely go out, however, and also welcome visitors who try their luck with a spontaneous visit.

Rates

Adults     £4.50
Children £1.00

School Parties  £1.00 per head
whether child or accompanying adult

People dealing with cancer   Free

All proceeds from opening this garden go to the National Gardens Scheme charities, the principle ones being :-

Macmillan
Marie Curie
Hospice UK
Carers Trust

Disabled Access

The paths to all the principle areas of the garden are gravel, reasonably level, and with seating at frequent intervals. People using manual wheelchairs or wheeled walkers may find it a bit difficult, but we have plenty of visitors who are either very elderly, or using sticks or crutches. Much of the garden is accessible to most motorized scooters.

Plants for sale

We have a small range of plants for sale, water plants in particular. For a greater range, there is a garden centre not far away -
 http://www.skysgardennursery.com/

Teas

We can offer cups of tea and coffee any time at £1 per cup.
If you would like cake as well, (at £1 per slice) please give us 24 hours notice so that I can bake.
You are welcome to bring a picnic.

Car Park

We have car parking space for 20 cars.

Buses and Coaches

Due to the narrow and winding nature of the road leading to the garden, we cannot unfortunately accommodate large buses. A 35 seater would be the maximum size.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs on leads and who leave no mess are very welcome.
